Talking and Talking

The baby girl is adding to her vocabulary every day by trying to repeat so many things we say. The other night she was able to eat dinner with Mimi and Poppa….via Web cam. The next day, all she could say was, “Mimi? Mimi?” She’s also trying to say bath as “Ba” and duck is “kuck.” Her favorite animal is still the “uppy” dog and she can spot one a mile away. Whenever she hears Rosey barking outside, she likes to say, “Uppy….woo, woo, woo, woo.” (Trying to bark like Rosey dog.) Did I mention she’s reading? She likes to sit IN the book basket or her new chair with a book open and just say a string of babble and words she knows, then flips the pages and points. We’ll try to catch that on video. The carousel at the mall proved to be such a hit with us, Nana and Pappy took her again on Saturday evening and she waved at them each time we went around. Also enjoyed her first McDonald’s happy meal and Sprite…..the carbonation made her eyes water, but she kept going for it!
