Growing and Growing….

Ella had her 2nd month appointment with the pediatrician and she’s now 10 pounds, 8 ounces and 23.25 inches long.  She seems to smile and laugh a little more every day and has recently discovered that she has a tongue, which she sticks out and chews on often.  She has also made friends with a little purple giraffe that she talks to and smiles at when playing.  She’s starting to sleep a little longer, but still no more than 5 hours at night.  Oh well- it’s totally worth waking up in the middle of the night to see her smile at me when I go in to “rescue” her from her bed for a midnight snack!
